Framed: Solo Surfer

On Jan. 18 at 11:30 am, on the shore across from Cana Island in Baileys Harbor, a solo surfer eyed up the winter waves. He assessed the ice floes and decided against heading out that day, but a group of four or five surfers have gone out this season. Submitted.
