Free Cat Adoption Event at DCHS throughout December

The Door County Humane Society (DCHS) is opening up the doors and hosting a Home for the Holidays event so more cats can find forever homes by Christmas. Throughout December DCHS is waiving the $90 cat adoption fee, so all cats and kittens from the main shelter are free to approved adopters. To start the adoption process, just take a few minutes to fill out the application form. The application will be processed as quickly as possible and DCHS will call with the outcome.

Go to doorcountyhumanesociety.org and click on the DCHS Animal Services tab on the left-hand side of the screen to download the application. The form can then be emailed to Ellen at [email protected], faxed to DCHS at 920.746.4681, or mailed to Door County Humane Society, PO Box 93, Sturgeon Bay, Wis. 54235. Another option is to visit DCHS and fill out the application in person. DCHS, located at 3475 County PD in Sturgeon Bay, is open to the public 12 – 4 pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
