Good Luck to Strivers at Nationals

About 2,000 gymnasts from across the country will travel to Savannah, Georgia, for the 2013 National Competition, including 14 gymnasts from the YMCA Strivers gymnastics team. The competition will be held June 25 – 29.

In order to compete, each participant must qualify by receiving a high enough all-around score at a USA Gymnastics (USAG) sanctioned meet. Twenty-three Striver gymnasts qualified; the gymnasts competing are: Kelsey Christiansen, Ally Dickson, Miah Eliyah, Ellie Helm, Abby Hocevar, Reetika Jandu, Alexis McCarthy, Jackie Mosgaller, Alexa Nelson, Sophia Pollman, Emma Reichel, Jenna Seiler, Abby Thiede and Emily Ulberg.

Nikki Pollman coaches the Strivers team along with Gerritt DeJonge, Amy Gamble, Mikki Rankin and Deb Christiansen.
