Kiwanis Club Hosts Travelogue Program

On Friday, March 18 the Kiwanis Club will present the fifth travelogue program of their film season with a journey to some of America’s most fascinating natural wonders. Viewers will travel with renowned naturalist and educator Bob DeLoss as he takes travelogue cinema guests on a countrywide exploration from Hawaii to Maine.

Towering volcanoes with their massive flows of lava are featured along with spectacular footage of Hawaii’s unusual oceanic life. On the mainland, DeLoss features Death Valley, Monument Valley, and Canyon Lands National Park. The film also features the mighty Teton Range of Wyoming, spring flowers blooming in Knoxville, Tennessee, and ends by showcasing the Acadia National Park in Maine.

Showtime is 7:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Sister Bay. Admission is $7 at the door; children under 18 are admitted free. Refreshments will be available during intermission. For more information call 920.854.4825.
