Landscape Liberation Workshop at Gallery Ten of Door County

“Hint of Blue on Door County River” by Ray Kapfamer.

Charlene’s Gallery Ten artist Ray Kapfamer will help artists release their inner child on July 9 in a one-day, plein air painting workshop. The workshop will be held outside the gallery in Gills Rock.

Kapfamer is noted for his abandon in the use of color. He will begin the workshop by demonstrating his contemporary approach to creating wild and colorful landscapes in pastels and oils. Students will then search for their own personal inspiration, and capture an outdoor scene. After a lunch break, Kapfamer will personally work with each individual artist.

The workshop will take place from 9 am – 4 pm. The cost is $75 and includes lunch. Class size is limed. For more information or to register call 920.854.9907. A materials list will be provided to registered participants.

Any specific questions about the workshop may be directed to Kapfamer via email at [email protected].

Charlene’s Gallery Ten, open daily from 10 am – 5 pm, is located at 12625 Highway 42 in Gills Rock. For more information visit http://www.galleryten.com.
