Letter to the Editor: Save Our Democracy!

It is a proven fact that Russian officials tampered with many forms of social media and meddled in our 2016 presidential election. The U.S. President does not seem to care that our national security is at risk as this hostile foreign government continues to infiltrate America.

More and more investigations show Trump campaign officials were meeting with and communicating with Russians. Several of the Trump workers have been indicted and have confessed to crimes against our government. Maybe collusion is not the issue but conspiracy might be.

It appears the investigation is getting closer to Trump so now some complicit Republicans in Congress are trying to stop or impede further findings by holding secret meetings. They and the fake news media (mostly the Fox network and some forms of social media) want to undermine and discredit the Justice Department and the FBI.

This borders on treason! Trump lies so much that he outwardly cares more about his own welfare than he does about our country and its security. When your federal government does not care about national security and is actually siding with a hostile foreign power, all of us should become alarmed and do something about it.
