Myles – what a wonderful, gentle tribute to Roy Lukes! Your article is beautiful to read.

Thank you for starting off my day by featuring Roy (and Charlotte) – and in so doing, helping me to remember to be more aware and mindful of the world around me. The Lukes’ have added so much to all our lives. It is lovely to know more of their history.

And thank you for writing it while he’s still with us. We’ve grown so used to some folks “always being there.” Roy is one of those people. It’s hard to imagine Door County without him. I hope he feels the hug from all of us that you gave him!
