Voters can get to know the candidates for County Board Supervisors from districts 14 and 15 in Sevastopol in a forum March 29. The League of Women Voters is sponsoring the forum at the Sevastopol Town Hall at 7 pm, where voters can submit written questions for the candidates.

Isle View Road Widening Approved
The Liberty Grove Town Board voted 3 – 2 to widen Isle View Road at a contentious meeting Feb. 28. The decision came despite the objections of many who said the widening will irreparably harm the unique aesthetic of the picturesque, little-traveled road in Ellison Bay.

Egg Harbor Buys Former Lena’s Building for Library
The long line of short-lived taverns that have called the old Lena’s Sip and Chat building home since long-time bar-keep Lena Schultz sold it in 1995 has come to an end. The Village of Egg Harbor bought the old tavern in downtown Egg Harbor for $350,000 to construct an expanded library and public space.
