Northern Sky Launches New Fan Campaign

Tickets available March 4

Northern Sky Theater will launch its New Fan Campaign when tickets go on sale starting March 4.

The New Fan Campaign is a marketing initiative to incentivize long-time fans and community “influencers” – business partners, information centers, volunteers, camp hosts or anyone else – to recruit new first-time fans to the theater in 2024.

“We know from past surveys that word-of-mouth is the primary way that folks hear about us,” managing director Holly Feldman said. “All we’re doing is finding unique ways to say ‘thank you’ for spreading the word about Northern Sky.”

Incentives range from free popcorn in the park to the chance to join Northern Sky’s Jeff Herbst and Katie Dahl on a Northern Sky Fan Cruise on the Rhine River in 2025. The grand-prize cruise is available to those who volunteer in 2024 and refer newcomers to the theater.

People who connect with a potential new fan can simply ask the newcomer to mention their name when they call for tickets or order online. The person or entity recommending Northern Sky will earn “points” when their name is mentioned. If a new fan purchases 5 tickets, the person who referred them will earn five points. Volunteers will earn an entry to the cruise drawing for each new fan they refer.
