One Voice for One Cause

From Beethoven to The Beatles and everything in between, One Voice – featuring Lynn Gudmundsen, David Hatch, and Lloyd Michalsen – presents acoustic classic rock with a tad bluegrass, a tad country, and a tad folk. The trio will perform March 29 at 7:30 pm in benefit of Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc. The concert will open with a set by Sidekicks, featuring Gudmundsen, Hatch and Patrick Palmer.

One Voice began performing together during the Christmas season in 2008 when they joined forces to create a three-part gospel sound. The three spent many long winter hours perfecting harmony arrangements.

Although they knew each other in a musical setting prior to forming One Voice, performing for churches and nursing homes soon became the goal of the new trio. When they performed summer visitors would say, “I wish you could play for my mom in Minnesota,” or “My 93-year-old Father lives in Florida and he would love your music. Do you ever perform there?”

One Voice hopes plans to bring the joy of live music to as many seniors as possible during their “Sing For Seniors Coast to Coast” music tour.

Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc. is a non-profit, human services agency that protects, heals, and cares for the children and families of Northeast Wisconsin. They offer over 30 comprehensive programs that support the people of the communities during challenges and transitions in their lives.
