Player/Kommander Returns to The Hitching Post

Birmingham, Alabama’s Player/Kommander make their return to The Hitching Post for a night of superstar stadium rock on Saturday, June 6 at midnight. The band will be joined by Adam Mackintosh and the Last Dancers, who open the show at 10 pm. The cover charge for the night is $5.

Player/Kommander, fronted by James Hall, was invited up to the county by Steel Bridge Songfest organizers Pat mAcdonald and Melaniejane in 2008.

James’ abilities in the studio and on stage were an undeniably powerful addition to the festival and warranted a return invitation. Jim Troglin, Bass player and co-writer in the band, was another tremendous boost to the songwriting core at the 2008 Steel Bridge Songfest.

Player/Kommander’s new album, On The Eve of Absolute Getdown, that is gaining appreciation by fans and radio worldwide. This show helps kickoff the week of Steel Bridge Songfest, and is a chance to see a very rare appearance in small venue.
