YMCA Benefit Sunday at Alexander’s

Alexander’s restaurant in Fish Creek will host the Star-Craving Mad Buffet this Sunday, Feb. 28 from 3 – 7 pm in support of the 2010 Door County YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a buffet filled with Alexander’s signature pasta, meat, and vegetarian Italian dishes all accompanied by a fabulous array of tasty salads and a variety mouth-watering pastries. There will be an opportunity to win great raffles and door prizes all afternoon with early bird raffles at 3:30 and 4:30 pm. Among the raffle items will be weekend getaways at a variety of hot spots throughout Wisconsin.

Tickets can be purchased at either Door County YMCA Program Center or at the door for $15 for adults and $7 for children. All proceeds will go towards the 2010 Strong Kids Campaign. The Strong Kids Campaign is the annual campaign to provide funds for scholarships and affordable programs “for all” in Door County regardless of age or financial need. In 2009, the community helped the Door County YMCA raise $400,450 to support this program. The goal for the 2010 campaign is $410,000.
