YMCA Underwater Hockey Team Beats MSU to Win Championship

The Door County YMCA Sturgeons won the CanAm Midwestern Underwater Hockey Championships, beating Michigan State in the finals with a score of 3 – 1. The championships were held in Milwaukee on Jan. 26 & 27.

The underwater hockey team hosts open practices and lessons at the Sturgeon Bay YMCA (1900 Michigan Street) every Friday from 6:30 – 8 pm. Beginners and non-YMCA members ages 9 and up are welcome to attend.
