    The Peg Egan Performing Arts Center in Egg Harbor will offer an improvisation workshop featuring Chicago’s Second City’s Improv team on July 22. This class is a great way to learn concentration, focus, unity, spontaneity, and creativity.

  • Midsummer’s Music Festival Features the Classic Masters

    Midsummer’s Music Festival will perform the fourth program of the festival, Classic Masters. This program features the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Joseph Haydn, and Ludwig Van Beethoven.

  • Gary Lane Returns with a “Nite to Remember”

    Gary Van Vorous, known musically as Gary Lane, returns to the Door County Auditorium with his “Nite to Remember,” a doo-wop and rock show. This show also features a number of other artists including the Doo-Wop Daddies, Paul Lent, Junior Brantley of Las Vegas, and the headliner is recording artist Jimmy Clanton.

    The Egg Harbor branch of the Door County Library will host the “Dream Big” Dress-up Party on June 30. Kids from pre-kindergarten through third grade are invited to a “Dream Big” party to celebrate the library’s summer theme, “Dream Big – Read!” Participants should think about what they want to be when they grow up, and are invited to come dressed as that person.

  • Running Green Routes Announced

    Running Green for Crossroads is scheduled for June 23 at 9 am and offers three routes to accommodate all running levels. The 1.24-mile walk/run is a scenic loop that takes walkers/runners along the gravel and wood chipped trails around Hauser’s Pond, through the coniferous woods, over Big Creek, and through the pine plantation.
