  • Copper Box on the Main Stage

    Music on the Main Stage at Third Avenue Playhouse presents Copper Box in concert on Nov. 29 at 7:30 pm. Wisconsin Blues Society describes Copper Box as “…one of the favorites of the Fox Valley Blues Festival 2004.

  • Three More Nights of “Wizard of Oz”

    There truly is no place like home as The Wizard of Oz lands on the stage of Southern Door Community Auditorium. Audiences will be swept away by the Southern Door School District’s production that celebrates the 75th anniversary of the iconic 1939 MGM film.

  • “Afternoon of Song” at Bjِrklunden

    Lawrence University’s Bjِrklunden will host a concert on Nov. 9 at 1:30 pm. The voice studio of Teresa Seidl returns with an “Afternoon of Song.” Familiar and beloved melodies from the musical theater genre by composers such as Rogers and Hammerstein, Sondheim, Lerner and Loewe, Cole Porter and others will showcase the diverse talents of her singers.

  • Veterans Day Concert in Algoma

    The Algoma Community Band and Community Chorus will present their annual Veterans Day concert on Nov. 12 in the Performing Arts Center at 7 pm. The band is under the direction of Tom Mueller and the chorus by Dave Robertson.

  • Cuba Featured in Travelogue Film

    On Nov. 14, the Kiwanis & Rotary Clubs of Northern Door will present the third program of their Travel & Adventure Cinema Series, “Cuba: A Road Trip from Havana to Santiago de Cuba.

  • NDCC Announces Holiday Home Tour Homes

    This year the annual Holiday Home Tour on Thanksgiving weekend to benefit Northern Door Children’s Center has a definite theme. All the homes are distinctive log homes, waterfront homes, or both, and decked out for the holidays.
