  • “columbinus” Debuts this Weekend at TAP

    columbinus will be performed at Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay from April 25 – 27. Following each of the four performances of columbinus, there will be an audience discussion with special guest panelists along with the cast and director of the play in order to talk further about the many issues raised in the play.

  • Pro Arte Quartet Returns to County May 5

    Midsummer’s Music announces the first Door County appearance of the 2014 season of the world famous Pro Arte Quartet, ensemble-in-residence at the University of Wisconsin, on May 5 at 7:30 pm at the Ephraim Moravian Church for an evening of music by Mozart, Bartَk, and more.

  • Tickets Available for Birch Creek’s 2014 Season

    Tickets are now available for Birch Creek Music Performance Center’s 2014 season concerts on birchcreek.org. The Percussion and Steel Band session kicks off the 2014 season on June 19.

  • AFT Will Reveal New Name May 25

    In January of 2014, American Folklore Theatre (AFT) announced that, beginning officially in 2015, the award-winning Door County troupe would debut a new name.

    Dear Mary Pat, I was wandering into a gas station with garbage and recycle cans right outside the door. I had a couple empty soda bottles and plopped them into the bright green recycle can while a lady behind me dropped her empty bottle into the garbage can! I transferred her bottle from the stinky, icky garbage can (along with three other empty bottles!) after she entered the building, but I seriously considered saying something.
