    From October 16 to 21, Lawrence University’s Bjِrklunden is offering the seminar “The Trojan War” with Daniel J. Taylor. This seminar will take place at Bjِrklunden’s lodge, just south of Baileys Harbor.

  • Door County Museum Features “Norwegian Heritage Day”

    On September 24 the Door County Historical Museum in Sturgeon Bay will host “Norwegian Heritage Day” from 10 am – 3 pm. Members of the Sons of Norway, dressed in their bunads, will be on hand to share many Norwegian customs.

  • Door County YMCA Hosts Pickleball Tournament

    The 1st Annual Door County YMCA Open Pickleball tournament was held September 10 and 11 at the Northern Door Program Center with 12 teams made up of participants from all over the state.

  • Run Wild at Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay

    The 23rd annual Run Wild three-mile and 10K events will be held October 1 at 10 am at beautiful Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay. The Smokey Bear Run for youth ages two to 10 years old will take place at 11:15 am.

  • “See Me! Hear Me!” Performances Bring to Light Human Trafficking

    Actress and activist Kathleen Thompson was deeply affected by a human trafficking experience in Poland more than a decade ago and will bring to light this tragic topic on October 1 at 7 pm during a performance entitled See Me! Hear Me! at Stella Maris Catholic Parish, located on Highway 57 in Baileys Harbor.
