There’s the historic Peninsula Players on the water, Northern Sky Theatre in the woods of Peninsula State Park, and Door Shakespeare in the gardens of Bjorklunden. Embarking upon the 20th season of “theatre under the stars,” the stage will host Cheeseheads, the Musical, Life on the Mississippi and Bone Dance Life on the Mississippi will take audiences on a journey with young Samuel Clemens as he leaves his home in Hannibal, Missouri to be a cub pilot on a Mississippi steamboat in 1858.

    A collaboration between the Southern Door Community Auditorium and the “Art of Music” presents: “Art on the Wild Side,” a day camp for kids. Young artists between the ages of 5 and 12 will have the opportunity to use their creativity to develop a story they can tell through visual and performing arts.
