    Visitor spending in Door County was up $10 million dollars last year according to a report released by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. The state’s tourism economic impact report comes on the eve of National Travel and Tourism Week, which runs from May 3 – 11.

    Seventeen individuals completed the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) Program offered through the Door County Visitor Bureau on April 15.     In May, D.C. Specialty Foods in Ephraim is partnering with United Way of Door County. For every chocolate-covered Rice Krispy treat featuring the United Way logo sold, $2 will be donated to United Way of Door County.

  • Bruce Low Joins Board of Realtors

    Bruce Low, owner/inspector of Bottom Line Home Inspection of Luxemburg, has joined the Door County Board of Realtors as an affiliate member. Bottom Line Home Inspection inspects homes and light commercial buildings for buyers and sellers, performs Wisconsin State Rental Weatherization Program (DILHR) inspections and certification, and tests for radon.
