Door County summers are made for live music! Check out a show in a bar, a sunset concert in the park in almost any village, a professional performance venue, or a concert in a rustic barn. Door County’s live music scene features every genre, local favorites and nationally touring artists.

  • Door County Musicians Present Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert

    Local musicians Lynn Gudmundsen, David Hatch, Jess Holland, Nick Hoover, Jeanne Kuhns, Pat Palmer, Marybeth Mattson, Mark Raddatz, Seth Raddatz, and Jay Whitney, and special guest performer James Valcq, are volunteering their time and talent to benefit those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

  • Coffeehouse Concert Series Returns to DCA

    On January 19, the Door County Auditorium launches its annual Coffeehouse Concert Series with the jazz and blues vocals of Erin Krebs Duo. On Jan. 26, Fairland Bluegrass Band and the Cowboy Church House Band take to the Main Stage with the Fish Tale Players for an evening of foot-tapping Gospel favorites at the Door County Opry.

  • “Music Heals” Concert Series Benefits The Healing Project

    Just as music soothes the soul, compassion soothes the heart. During life’s most difficult journeys, compassion can be as instrumental as music. Starting Jan. 25, Ministry Door County Medical Center will feature a broad range of musical concerts throughout Door County.

    Live from Southern Door Auditorium on Jan. 5 comes Door County Idol. Modeled after the poplar reality competition, American Idol – minus Ryan Seacrest’s dramatic pauses, Simon Cowell’s sour attitude, and Steven Tyler’s distracting hair – the event features six talented teens with incredible pipes.

  • Kelly Joe Phelps Features Lap Slide Guitar at White Gull

    Singer, songwriter and guitarist Kelly Joe Phelps will perform at the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek on Jan. 16 at 8 pm. Since Lead Me On, his debut album, came out in 1994, the Pacific Northwest-based Phelps has written and performed some of the most compelling slide guitar music ever recorded.

  • One Voice Launches Kickstarter Campaign

    One Voice, a local trio, is launching a fundraising campaign with hopes of traveling to care centers and nursing homes to share their love of music and the joy it brings.

  • Small Forest Performs at Base Camp Coffee Bar

    Jeanne Kuhns returns to Base Camp Coffee Bar for their annual holiday concert. Kuhns will sing Christmas carols and original progressive folk music and lead sing-alongs with her new band— Small Forest.

    The Hagen Family from Washington Island returns to Third Avenue Playhouse for their annual holiday concert. This concert is truly a family reunion, not only for the Hagen family, but also for the many Door County fans who have made this concert a holiday tradition.

  • Replica Rocks “End of World Party”

    Some say December 21, 2012 will mark the end of the world and if so, the band Replica will go down in a blaze of glory, paying tribute to the classic rock songs of the ‘70s and ‘80s at the Lodge at Leathem Smith in Sturgeon Bay from 8 pm – midnight.

    Singer Lisa Rock and her 6-piece band will bring holiday classics – Carpenters style – to Third Avenue Playhouse on Dec. 8 with “A Carpenters Christmas.”
