Gibraltar Superintendent Seyfer to retire
• Gibraltar Superintendent Steve Seyfer announced that he will be retiring at the end of the 2011-12 school year. Seyfer has been at Gibraltar since 1997.

• Uniformed deputies from the Door County Sheriff’s Department were on hand at the Nov. 29 meeting of the Door County Board of Supervisors after threats were made against county employees.

What’s Coming up in Door County?
• Recycle your electronics and other hard-to-dispose of trash at Sturgeon Bay Utilities (SBU) free recycling day Dec. 14 from 7:30 am to 3 pm. Items accepted include light bulbs, ballasts, batteries, televisions, microwaves, computer components, electronics and holiday lighting.
