  • Eva Jade Webber Receives PMF Scholarship

    The Peninsula Music Festival has selected Eva Jade Webber, senior at Sturgeon Bay High School, as the recipient of their college scholarship. Each year the Peninsula Music Festival awards a $3,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who desires to further his or her education in music.

  • Southern Door Student Honored for Volunteer Service

    Austin Wheaton, Southern Door High School senior, has been honored for his exemplary volunteer service with a President’s Volunteer Service Award. The award, which recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities, was granted by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program on behalf of President Barack Obama.

  • Fix Your Friendly Outdoor Cats

    Two low-cost spay and neuter clinics will be offered this year for the first time, the Door County Humane Society (DCHS) announced. The two clinics, specifically for friendly outdoor cats, are the result of collaboration between DCHS, Door to Door Veterinary Services, Northern Door Pet Clinic, and Peninsula Veterinary Service.
