    Snow covered trails and the soft swish of skis combined with candles will set the scene for the Whitefish Dunes State Park annual candlelight ski on Saturday, January 26 from 6 – 9 pm.

  • Peninsula State Park Candlelight Ski

    On Saturday, February 9 come to Peninsula State Park to ski a candlelit one-mile, double-tracked trail through forest and meadow! The Candlight ski will take place from 5:30 – 8 pm and will include a bonfire with refreshments at the warming shelter.

  • Newport State Park’s 18th Annual Candlelight Ski/Hike/Snowshoe Event

    Newport State Park will hold it’s 18th Annual Candlelight Ski/Hike/Snowshoe event on Saturday, February 9, from 6 – 9 pm. Eighteen years ago Newport State Park began the candlelight ski tradition in Door County, and it is the only state park in Door County that also allows hiking and snowshoeing during the event.

    On February 15 and 16 the Island Players on Washington Island will present seven comedies by David Ives at the Washington Hotel. The production, Time Flies: A Matter of Life and Death, is produced by Charlotte Manning and directed by David Ranney and Carissa Mann.
