  • Kiwanis Club Presents Documentary “The Silk Road”

    The Kiwanis Club kicks off its 2010-2011 Travelogue season on Friday, September 17 with the presentation of its first of six new travel films. The first film, The Silk Road, takes viewers on a journey along the ancient Silk Road as presented by Marlin Darrah.

  • Savory Spoon Presents an Evening of Cheese-tasting

    On Tuesday, August 31 at 6 pm, Kevin Davis will introduce visitors of the Savory Spoon in Ellison Bay to award-winning cheeses. The cheese tasting will feature cheese by prized Cheesemaker Roth Kنse, paired with gourmet fruits, cured meats, artisan bread, and wine.

  • Ephraim Museums Announce Fall Hours

    The Ephraim Village Museum’s summer hours will end on Friday, September 3, heralding in the fall museum hours. Four of the five museum buildings – the Anderson Store, Pioneer Schoolhouse, Goodletson Cabin, and Anderson Barn – will be open Friday and Saturday from 11 am – 4 pm from September 10 through October 9.

    On Tuesday, August 24 at 6 pm, award-winning cheesemaker Chris Roelli will be at the Savory Spoon in Ellison Bay. He will bring along his signature cheese, the Dunbarton Blue, crafted only at the Roelli Cheese Haus, for tasting.

  • Savory Spoon Hosts “The Garden Lady”

    The fresh herb and flower garden comes to the table at the Savory Spoon in Ellison Bay with a class led by Beth Coleman, “The Garden Lady.” On Saturday, August 14 at 9:30 am, participants will learn from Coleman’s vast knowledge on how to make herb and fruit-infused vinegars, pesto, and edible flower finishes to take home.

  • UUF Shows “The Cove”

    A free screening of The Cove will be shown at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Ephraim on August 17 at 7 pm.

  • Master Cheesmaker at Liberty Square

    Liberty Square of Egg Harbor will host celebrated Wisconsin “Master Cheesemaker” Steven Tollers at its Deli/Gourmet food store on August 14 and 15. Tollers will appear on Saturday from 11 am – 4 pm and Sunday from 10 am – 2 pm.

  • Kids Can Cook at Ellison Bay’s Savory Spoon Cooking School

    School continues this summer at the Savory Spoon Cooking School as popular guest instructor Amy Rebhan will be teaching two Kids Can Cook classes on August 2 and 3.
