  • Annual Hymn Sing at Zion United

    Zion United Methodist Church will hold the first of its two annual hymn sings at 6:30 pm on Sunday, July 11. The event, which has attracted participants from over a dozen different religious dominations, features old-time hymns selected by the audience.

  • Savory Spoon Offers Tasty Events

    The Savory Spoon Cooking School in Ellison Bay will present the first “Small Bites” event on Tuesday, July 6 at 6 pm. The event will feature several small plates inspired by the seasonal garden and include a glass of wine paired with the menu.

    The Door County Trolley and Carrington Pub & Grill are pleased to offer a Haunted Pub Crawl. This haunted tavern tour will place visitors close to the “spirits” of Door County as they enjoy the tales of the peninsula’s haunted pubs and taverns.

    To mark the 100th birthday of the Summertime Restaurant, a Fish Creek landmark, the Gibraltar Historical Association is hosting “Gibraltar Talks… Summertime’s History 100 Years,” on Thursday, July 8.

    The Ephraim Historical Foundation’s “History Speaks” lectures will take place Tuesdays, July 6 – July 27 at 7:30 pm at Ephraim Village Hall.

    The 2010 Door County Folk Festival begins Wednesday, July 7 and continues through Sunday, July 11. The 31st annual event continues a tradition of enjoyable weekends where participants may dance (as late into the night as they wish), sing, learn, eat, party, and make new friends in a relaxed, community atmosphere.
