Birch Creek brings jazz and classical music to a rustic barn, Midsummer’s Music Festival tours the peninsula for intimate concerts, and the Peninsula Music Festival awes visitors and locals alike at the Door Community Auditorium each august.   • Peninsula Music Festival February Fest Continues on February 12

    The Peninsula Music Festival’s 2008 February Fest will continue on Tuesday, February 12 with a concert at the Peninsula Art School. The 7 pm concert will feature PMF violinist Marilyn McDonald on baroque violin and associate conductor Stephen Alltop on harpsichord.

  • CD Release for Jana Nyberg Group

    Coming in March, The Jana Nyberg Group will release its first CD. The collection features Adam Meckler, trumpet and flugelhorn; Jake Nyberg, drums; Evan Montgomery, guitar; Mark Urness, bass; and Jana Nyberg, vocals and flute.

  • “Time Flies” Performed by Island Players

    Washington Island’s community theatre, Island Players, has chosen Time Flies…A Matter of Life and Death, seven, short, inter-related one-acts by David Ives, as its winter production.

  • “Time Flies” on Washington Island

    On February 15 and 16 the Island Players on Washington Island will present seven comedies by David Ives at the Washington Hotel. The production, Time Flies: A Matter of Life and Death, is produced by Charlotte Manning and directed by David Ranney and Carissa Mann.

  • Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra

    The Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra, conducted by Mike Ross, will perform at the Weidner Center on Monday, March 10 at 10 am for area elementary students.

  • DCA Presents Third Annual “Door County Idol”

  • Victoria Vox Featured in Concert at White Gull Inn

    Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Victoria Vox will be featured in concert Wednesday, December 12, at the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek. The 8 pm concert is the second of a series of six this winter, featuring nationally touring acoustic folk musicians.

  • “The Christmas Schooner” – A Musical

    The Christmas Schooner, will be performed on Washington Island on December 1 at 7:30 pm and December 2 at 2 pm. Tickets prices are adults $12 and children $6.
