Steel Band Concerts Continue at Birch Creek
The Birch Creek Percussion & Steel Band concerts continue. The annual family friendly Drumming Comedy and Pops concert is July 19 and features faculty members Dan Moore, Brad Stirtz, Robert Chappell and Program Director Ben Wahlund.

Marilyn Keiser Performs at Shepherd of the Bay
Virtuoso organist Marilyn Keiser will perform at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay on July 21 at 7 pm. Keiser has planned a program drawn from English, German, French, and American composers.

Birch Creek Ambassadors Return to UUF
The Birch Creek Ambassadors return to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on July 25 at 7 pm. Their repertoire consists of jazz standards. The Ambassadors group was formed in 1999 to serve as Birch Creek’s goodwill ambassadors, acquainting residents and visitors with Birch Creek’s mission and programs, as well as bringing jazz to numerous venues throughout the county.

Julian Hagen and the Trueblood Performance Art Center
Julian Victor Hagen was born on November 20, 1956, on Washington Island, the youngest of Jack and Marcella Hagen’s three children. His two older sisters, Leila and Linda, their husbands, six children and 12 grandchildren, with Julian and his wife, Diana, perform regularly on the island and down the county as the Hagen Family Singers.

Organist Erik Suter Returns to Door County
Organist Erik Suter returns to Door County to present a concert of organ music at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church on June 23 at 7 pm. A native of Chicago and an internationally acclaimed musician, Suter served as organist at Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC for nearly 10 years.
