Door County summers are made for live music! Check out a show in a bar, a sunset concert in the park in almost any village, a professional performance venue, or a concert in a rustic barn. Door County’s live music scene features every genre, local favorites and nationally touring artists.

  • Confessional Songwriting

    On June 29, alt-rock icon Melissa Etheridge will bring her soulful lyrics and smoky, Joplin-esque vocals to the stage at Door Community Auditorium (DCA) as part of her popular This Is M.E. solo tour.

  • Artists Pay Tribute To pat mAcdonald With Surprise CD Release

    “No self-respecting artist can have anything to do with his own tribute album.” Joseph Kaftan recalls the night Sturgeon Bay musician pat mAcdonald uttered those words to him – the two men hanging out at Kaftan’s place in Seattle, Washington, and mAcdonald wondering aloud what his next project would be.

  • Los Lonely Boys Cancels Show Due to Death of Members’ Mother

    Due to the sudden death of their mother, the Los Lonely Boys have canceled their concert dates through June 23, including the June 18 concert at the Door Community Auditorium, the DCA announced June 17.

  • A New Kind of Vintage

    WIFEE and the HUZz BAND will open the Peg Egan PAC Sunset Concert Series on June 21 at 7 pm. This concert series takes place at the Peg Egan PAC on Church Street in Egg Harbor and is free to the general public.

  • A Sharp-Witted Lyricist

    The Cookery’s wine bar will feature Katie Dahl on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer and fall starting June 24. Dahl is a Door County folksinger known for her sharp-witted lyrics, intricate melodies, and engaging performances.

  • Oldest Bluegrass Band in the County

    Base Camp Coffee Bar welcomes Last Man Standing for an early evening performance on June 19, 4 – 6 pm. Last Man Standing bills themselves as the “oldest bluegrass band in the county,” but promises up-tempo sets of traditional and original tunes, guaranteed to make audiences smile, chair dance and perhaps even sing along.

  • Soul Country

    Eddie Smith and Tommy Burroughs open the Woodwalk Concert Series on June 19 at 7 pm. These musicians light up the stage with their vocal harmonies, lightening speed mandolin, guitar and fiddle playing and fabulous original bluegrass/country tunes.

  • A Unique Brand of Americana

    On July 2, Birds of Chicago will play at Bier Zot in Sister Bay in a show for all ages at 7 pm. Birds of Chicago (BOC) return to the road (and Door County), fresh from the studio with Grammy Award-winning producer Joe Henry.

  • Living Legends & Country Stars

    A couple of big names are coming to the Door Community Auditorium, performing two days apart in June: living legend Mavis Staples on June 23 and country music sensation Josh Turner on June 25.

  • Anything but Ordinary

    On June 14, Door Community Auditorium will kick off its season with a CD release concert by popular Door County folksinger Katie Dahl.

  • Wine & Music

    Visit Parallel 44 Winery in Kewaunee on select Saturdays in June, July and August from 4 to 6 pm for their summer concert series. Admission is free and wine sampling is $6 and includes five samples and a Parallel 44 signature wine glass.

  • A Melting Pot of Music

    On June 18, Door Community Auditorium will present an evening of “Texican” music by the passionate, searing and immensely talented Los Lonely Boys. With Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers providing a high-energy opening set, the evening will be filled with masterful guitar work, irresistible grooves, and unshakeable pop appeal.

  • Steel Bridge Songfest Celebrates 10 Years in 2015

    Steel Bridge Songfest 2015, held June 11 – 14, marks the festival’s 10th anniversary. Festivities begin on June 11 with Door County Appreciation Night.

  • Roots Music from Dead Pigeons at Beer Fest

    The Door County Beer Festival is bringing two great roots bands to the stage in Baileys Harbor on June 20. The Dead Pigeons ride the gravelly tones of lead singer Drew Peterson and a group of dedicated musicians who put on a show that can be part barn dance and part bar brawl.

  • Upcoming Lineup for Cookery Music Series

    The June schedule for The Cookery’s Wine Bar Music Series includes Julian Hagen on June 10, Katie Lott and George Sawyn on June 18, and Highland Road on June 25.

  • Dual Listening Party at Studio 330

    Studio 330 in Sturgeon Bay welcomes music lovers to the studio to check out the brand new recordings of Randy Bruce and local band Small Forest from 5 – 8 pm on June 6.
